  • Exploring the Archaeological Wonder of the Memphis Necropolis
    Located at some 20 km (12 miles) from Cairo on the west bank of the Nile in Egypt, the Memphis necropolis offers excavated and amazing funerary edifices such as the rock mausoleums, elaborate mastabas, ancient temples, and huge pyramids. Memphis was the capital of the Old Kingdom and of the first nome of Lower Egypt from 3100 B.C. to 2200 B.C. In olden days, this site was among one of the Seven Wonders of the World.   • Zambezi River
    Zambezi (also ‘Zambesi’) is the fourth longest river (3,540 km) in Africa and the largest of all the rivers in the Black Continent that flow into the Indian Ocean. The basin area of the river is almost 14 lakhs square kilometres. Zambezi originates in Zambia and flows through the states of Angola and touches the borders of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and finally into Mozambique where it meets the Indian Ocean (it forms a delta at its mouth). The river also touches Tanzania and Malawi. David Livingstone was the first European to have paid visit to Upper Zambezi in the mid-19th century.   • The Bwindi’s Mountain Gorillas
    Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is an outstanding luxuriant sheathe of forest which spreads 331 square kilometers throughout the steep crest of the Albertine Rift Valley and one of the ancient forest of Africa as well as home to Mountain Gorillas. The world’s endangered population of the Mountain Gorillas can be found in an ancient rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda.
