  • Welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa
    Uganda officially known as Republic of Uganda is a landlocked nation in Eastern Africa and is also called Pearl of Africa. It is surrounded on north by South Sudan, on east by Kenya, on west by Democratic Republic of Congo, on southwest by Rwanda and on south by Tanzania. The country’s southern part includes substantial portion of Lake Victoria that is shared by Tanzania and Kenya. The inhabitants of Uganda were hunter gatherers till 1700 to 2300 years ago, when Bantu-speaking peoples migrated to Uganda’s southern regions. It gained independence in the month of October 1962 from Britain. Its official languages include Swahili and English, albeit there are were plenty of other languages spoken in Uganda.   • Table Mountain – A Unique Flat-Topped Peak
    Table Mountain is a South African icon and the only natural site on the earth to have constellation of starts named after it Mensa, which means “the table”. It is a flat topped peak forming prominent landmark overlooking the Cape Town City in South Africa and is featured in Cape Town’s Flag and other national government motif. It is a major tourist sight with number of visitors using cableway or hiking to the top. It forms part of Table Mountain National Park. The most significant feature of Table Mountain is plateau level around 2 miles from side to side bordered by impressive cliffs.
